At a time in Texas when our water supplies are being depleted faster than they can be replenished, it is the responsibility of the stakeholders to be more efficient with this valuable resource. Irrigation professionals make up a large percentage of these stakeholders and tend to be the most visible users of water in the industry, sometimes making them a prime target for public criticism.
The DIA hosts, promotes, and participates in irrigation industry events, both locally and statewide. Members are encouraged to join the DIA at its general membership meetings for dinner, an industry related program, and time set aside with one of DIA’s sponsors. Every January DIA hosts one of the largest industry Expos in the state, offering TCEQ approved CEU’s and a host of industry vendors. See the Expo section of this website for more details.
Membership in the Dallas Irrigation Association not only connects you with other irrigation industry professionals, but also to irrigation end users across the DFW Metroplex. DIA is affiliated with and holds a seat on the board of directors of the state association, the Texas Irrigation Association. To learn more about membership in DIA, select “Member Benefits” below.
Provide networking and educational opportunities for its members and to work alongside industry professionals to jointly communicate the importance of both efficient irrigation practices and the utilization of licensed irrigators.
